At Thurmer, we are committed to working towards a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future. On this page we would like to share our efforts to reduce our environmental impact and how we work with end-of-life (EOL) / Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and a green ISO certification.
End-of-life (EOL) and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)
We are aware of the importance of considering the entire life cycle of our products and services. We actively work with EOL and LCA analyzes to minimize the environmental impact of our products and to find sustainable solutions for their disposal or recycling.
Some of the measures we are working to implement include:
Designing products that can be repaired, upgraded or recycled to extend their life
Cooperate with local recycling centers and waste management facilities for proper disposal of materials and components
Optimizing the production process to minimize resource consumption and waste
Recycling of all cardboard boxes we receive
Green ISO certification
We are in the process of obtaining a green ISO certification, which is international recognition of our sustainability efforts and environmental management. This certification will help us ensure that we meet environmental requirements and work continuously to improve our environmental performance.
Some of the steps we take to achieve this certification include:
Implementation of an environmental management system (EMS) to monitor and manage our environmental impact
Training employees in sustainability principles and best practices
Compliance with local and international environmental laws and standards
Our ongoing efforts
We are proud of our progress in sustainability and environmental protection, but we know there is always room for improvement. We will continue to work on improving our practices, engage in dialogue with our customers and business partners and find innovative ways to minimize our environmental impact.
